Bremore field system in County Dublin: ghost lines in crop, no stones left, passage tombs watching from the northeast. People may have lived there long before memory, growing food beside dead ancestors. The land keeps its shape even when human hands disappear.
A field system visible as a crop mark on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-13 (SMR file; pers. comm. T. Condit). At relatively high point in landscape with Bremore passage tombs to the north east. No visible remains.
