Man-made underground passage in Breeoge

Situated in level area, at the rear boundary of garden of a dwelling house, in undulating pasture. The monument was discovered in the course of landscaping works in 1997. It consists of a NW-SE orientated passage (L c. 6m; Wth 0.5-0.7m; H 0.8-1m) that curves slightly to the W along its length. The walls are of drystone random limstone rubble and the roof is lintelled with limestone slabs. The opening is modern (Wth 0.4m; H 0.4m). Compiled by: Paul Walsh Date of upload: 5 August 2015
