What is recorded here

Bottomstown holds a ghost enclosure in reclaimed pasture, visible only when grass grows uneven or shadow stretches long. It lies 320m SW of the Rathanny boundary, with another enclosure 250m to NE, as if the land were marked in pairs for reasons no longer spoken. The shape resisted every historic map and appeared first through aircraft in 1986, suggesting human hands shaped the earth before surveyors learned its name.
