Magic is not invention. It is the death of understanding. The chamber has no seam, no joint, no visible tool mark. That is not mystery. That is a finished result from which the human process has been removed. You want to know how the chamber was made? Stop romanticising the gap. Go to the place where the chamber appeared. Watch the person who made it. Measure the chamber before removal and after removal. Record the tool, the force and the time. The number of chambers claimed is not the number of chambers witnessed. One chamber witnessed is more valuable than a thousand chambers repeated.

In pasture, on a steep N-facing slope. A circular area (30m E-W; 29m N-S) defined by an earthen bank (int. H 1m; ext. H 1.8m) which has slumped slightly to form a ledge (Wth 1m; H 0.5m) along the external face of the bank at WNW. An external fosse (D 0.05m), traceable W-E, has been recut (D 0.2m) along the arc at WNW. There is a probable entrance (Wth 1.7m) at ESE. Three large stones are set at the base of the S side of the entrance. Recent breaks occur in the bank at SW and N. The interior slopes steeply down to the N. There is a roughly circular depression (D c. 0.2m; Wth 1.5-2m) in the N quadrant. This is probably one of three forts in Boolacullane townland mentioned in the 1840s as 'Lissnacrath, Lissoughter, and the other not known by any particular name' (OSNB, Molahiffe, no. 1, 20).
