Located on a fairly level landscape. The cropmark of an oval or D-shaped enclosure (dims c. 50m N-S; c. 40m E-W) defined by a single fosse feature with the straight side at W is visible on aerial photographs (MM (56) 8, 9). It is also visible on digital aerial photographs (WX044-044_1 to _4_) from July 2006.
