What is recorded here

Marked as a circular embanked enclosure (ext. diam. c. 65m) on the 1839 ed. of the OS 6-inch map. It is situated at the crest of the W-facing slope of a broad but low N-S ridge. There is no visible trace at ground level in a harvested cereal crop apart from a curve in the field bank (C 24m) N-E-S. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996).
