What is recorded here

Marked as a circular embanked enclosure (ext. diam. c. 40m) on the 1840 ed. of the OS 6-inch map. Situated in pasture at the crest of a N-facing slope, it is not visible at ground level, but traces of an enclosure are visible on aerial photographs (ASIAP (383) 31-36) taken in 2003. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999).
