Battle scarred County Antrim in 1641 and again in 1649, marking the land as a repeated victim of regional violence. The soil absorbed both conflicts without distinction, preserving only the shape of human damage rather than the names of those who bled. What happened between those years remains unseen, but the repeated date suggests the area kept returning to frontline status instead of recovering.
