What is recorded here

Seven acres of large rectangular fields still stand in Bartramstown, bounded by old banks and crossed by a forgotten mill race. A round mound rises at the edge, perhaps the base of a windmill that once turned grain into flour for the nearby church. The layout suggests a planned community where water, wind and soil were harnessed together before modern tools arrived.
