In pasture, 368m E of townland boundary with Athalacca South. Depicted on the 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map as an oval shaped platform defined by a scarp. Shown on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map as an oval-shaped sunken area (dims. c. 13m N-S; 10m E-W) enclosed by a bank. Monument visible as an oval-shaped cropmark truncated at SE and SSW by a modern field boundary running NE-SW on the OSi orthophotograph taken between 2005-12. Cropmark clearly visible on Google Earth orthoimages.
