What is recorded here

On a very slight S-facing slope in low-lying wet pasture with a barrow (TS058-012----) immediately to the E. Circular area (diam. 18m) defined by an earthen scarp (Wth 1.8-2.2m; H 0.5m). At the external base of the scarp is a fosse (Wth at base 1.4m; D 0.1m) and an external earthen bank (Wth at top 1.7-3.2m; overall Wth 4.2-5.2m; H 0.1-0.4m). The barrow (TS058-012001-) immediately to the E of this monument lies 1.9m outside the external base of the bank with the E edge of this barrow extending across the line of the absent outer banks and fosses of the neighbouring barrow. A modern entrance (Wth 8m) cuts through the external bank at N with a causeway across the fosse. The interior is level and clear of overgrowth.
