On the N-facing slope of the broad WNW-ESE Carnfree ridge abutting the E bank of road (RO028-062001-), which has been removed to its S (L c. 20m). Circular grass-covered mound (diam. 10m; H 0.5m at S to 1.3m at N). Ring-barrow (RO028-062003-) is 10m to the NW. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010

Mound barrow, likely dating to the Early Bronze Age. It represents a common funerary monument type in the British Isles, associated with ritual and burial practices of the period.
