In improved pasture 100m NW of a watercourse. Enclosure (LI033-093----) 100m to N. Not depicted on historic OSi maps. Identified by Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 78; AP 4/3626) as a ring-barrow. Visible as a circular cropmark on OSi orthophoto taken between 2005-12 and on Google Earth orthoimage dated 18/11/2018. Ditch barrow, likely dating to the Early Bronze Age. Its identification from aerial photography highlights the value of such surveys in uncovering previously unrecorded monuments.
