Font in Barragh stands outside the church entrance in County Carlow, a low granite disc with a shallow central dish and a thin channel cutting to one edge. Rain or poured water would have gathered in the small basin, then run along the channel and left through the side outlet. The font may have served baptism, ritual washing or simple rainwater collection, but its plain shape and exposed position suggest it belonged to daily church life rather than display.
Base of granite font (diam. 0.86m; H 0.3m) with shallow central depression (diam. 0.3m; D 0.02m) and shallow channel leading from centre to outlet at side. Located outside entrance of church (CW017-042001-).
