In lush, level pasture. Monument identified during ASI fieldwork. A circular area (diam. 4.5m) defined by a shallow fosse (Wth 1.65m; D 0.06m) and the possible remains of a levelled bank (overall Wth 3.4m; Wth at top 2m; int. H 0.06m; ext. H 0.13m). A Neolithic ring-barrow; dates to the early farming period in Ireland. Its construction reflects burial practices and earthwork techniques of the Neolithic community.
