Lisnagranard is a well-preserved fairy fort on a Galway rise, its bank and ditch still drawing a clear circle after centuries of grass growing over forgotten lives. The southern gap may be an entrance rather than a collapse, inviting people into a place where the boundary between the living world and fairy tradition still feels possible.

On a prominent rise in gently undulating grassland. Well-preserved subcircular rath (N-S 31m, E-W 28.5m) defined by a bank and an external fosse. A gap at SSW could be original. Neary (1914, 111, no. 43) noted the existence of an outer bank of which no visible surface trace survives.
