Ballyvouskill hides a stone-lined entrance to an underground chamber roofed with flags, tucked inside a possible ringfort. The passage has no visible surface trace, suggesting human hands built and concealed it rather than chance or decay. It may have served as a cellar, refuge or ritual space, but the absence of markers denies easy certainty. What is known is that the ground there still holds a made chamber, waiting to be remembered.
