The fairy fort or ringfort in Ballyvoreen is in County Waterford, Ireland. The 1999 archaeological inventory recorded it as pasture towards the top of a slight north-south ridge, not visible at ground level. The 1840 edition of the Ordnance Survey six-inch map marked a circular enclosure about 40 to 45 metres across.
Marked as a circular enclosure (diam. c. 40-45m) on the 1840 ed. of the OS 6-inch map. Situated in pasture towards the top of a slight N-S ridge, it is not visible at ground level. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999).
