In a clearance in centre of modern coniferous plantation, a possible barrow (LI040-127002-) lies 90m to the NE. Not marked on OSi historic maps. Identified as a small circular feature on aerial photographs (BGE 1/5000 2571, Strip map 4, 4/38) taken 03/11/1984 on Bórd Gáis Éireann Curraleigh West-Limerick gas pipeline. No surface remains visible on Digital Globe orthoimage taken 2011-13. Not visible on Google Earth orthoimages.
