What is recorded here
Ballynahaha held a forty-metre earthen ring on a north-facing slope, visible on maps until a mechanical digger erased it. The fairy fort gave up its ancient shape to modern hunger for flat ground. What remains is a vacant pasture field where memory must build the wall again.
In pasture, on N-facing slope. Monument, depicted as circular enclosure (diam. c. 40m) on 1924 OS 6-inch map, has been levelled. No trace of monument evident when inspected. According to local information monument levelled recently by mechanical digger.
