Site of Sweat Ho. is a sweathouse in Ballynacroghy OR Gallowstown, County Westmeath, Ireland. The structure had been levelled before 1837, leaving no surface remains visible in the grassland area where it once stood. It appears as a small building on the 1837 edition Ordnance Survey six-inch map and is annotated as the site of a sweat house on the 1837 Ordnance Survey Fair Plan map. A possible ringfort named Raheen lies immediately to the northeast, while Shanwallia House is located eighty metres to the south.
Situated -n an area of grassland with possible ringfort annotated as 'Raheen' (WM011-079----) immediately to NE with Shanwallia House 80m to S. Depicted on the 1837 OS Fair Plan map and annotated as ‘Site of Sweat House’. Small building annotated as 'Site of Sweat Ho.' on 1837 ed. OS 6-inch map. No surface remains visible of Sweat House which had been levelled before 1837.
