Grave Yard in County Clare, Ireland holds oval quiet beside its church, marked by headstones from c. 1850 and three vaults within a masonry wall. The cut-out NE quadrant may be an eye caught on absence rather than a lost chamber, while the slight rise above low pasture gives the dead a little more sky. People may have come there to walk past remembered names, set flowers on cold stone, or sit with the uncertainty that shape itself can suggest.

On a slight rise in low-lying pasture. A generally oval-shaped graveyard (47m N-S; 64m E-W) defined by a masonry wall and surrounding a church (CL026-051001-). It appears as though the NE quadrant of the graveyard was cut out but there is no evidence that the graveyard ever extended to the NE beyond the church.
