Embanked enclosure is a fairy fort or ringfort in Ballylegat, County Waterford, Ireland. The 1840 edition of the Ordnance Survey six-inch map marked a circular embanked enclosure with an external diameter of about 50 metres. That same account situated the site in pasture on a gentle southeast-facing slope and recorded that it was not visible at ground level. Another enclosure stands about 50 metres to the north.
Marked as a circular embanked enclosure (ext. diam. c. 50m) on the 1840 ed. of the OS 6-inch map. Situated in pasture on a gentle SE-facing slope, it is not visible at ground level. Enclosure (WA016-062----) is c. 50m to the N. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999).
