Fulacht fia in Ballyhoolahan West

In waterlogged pasture. Spread of burnt material (11.5m N-S; c. 7m E-W; H 1.1m). According to local information, mound c. 0.2m higher than at present, was levelled in 1984. Probably one of 19 fulachta fiadh (see 10318) recorded in townland by Bowman (1934, 493). Second fulacht fiadh (10315) c. 250m to SE.
