Enclosure in Ballyhays is a curvilinear ditch visible only when crops grow unevenly above its hidden shape. It lies beside a double-ring ditch in County Kildare, yet neither can be dated or clearly separated from nearby ploughed field marks. The land may have been a boundary, a ceremonial ground, or a forgotten neighbourhood, but the soil no longer gives that answer plainly. What remains is a ghost line in the grass, waiting for rain or sunlight to reveal how much of the old world still sleeps beneath the farm.

Aerial photograph (GB89.AF.11) shows the cropmark of a curvilinear enclosure defined by a fosse; located in close proximity to a ring-ditch (KD014-057----) defined by two concentric fosses. Cropmarks of plough-levelled field boundaries located nearby; chronological relationship uncertain.
