Fairy fort / stone ringfort in Ballyharraghan

Ballyharraghan holds a stone ringfort, a circular cashel built by human hands but renamed by local imagination. The stones still stand in a tight ring, marking a place where people lived, defended themselves or kept belongings before the fairy label arrived. That change of name does not weaken the fact; it shows how memory works. People stopped repeating the human purpose and began repeating the strange one, turning an ordinary fortress into a fairy fort. The stones never argued.
