What is recorded here

CAIRN in Ballygilbert, County Antrim, is a prehistoric human arrangement of stones, old enough that no exact date or builder survives. It is not a modern decoration or an abandoned machine. Under that uncertainty, the chamber may have held a dead person, marked a boundary, or watched the sky. The stones still do one of those things, even if human memory has forgotten which.
