Glenarm still hides the lost castle beneath its parks, though no wall stands to mark the boundary. The medieval site may have been a small defensive post or a noble residence, but the earth has taken back its shape. People walk past the buried stones without knowing they step across a forgotten power centre. The castle vanished, yet it still occupies the land.

Glenarm Castle, located in what is now Town Parks, was built in the late 16th century by the Stewart family, who were prominent in the region during the Tudor period.
