What is recorded here

Indicated is a thirty-metre fairy fort in County Limerick, its earthen bank still standing beside a narrow fosse where rain collects into a small northern pond. Field boundaries cut across the ridge like later scars, while dense overgrowth swallows most of the level interior. The site retains the shape of human occupation even when memory has thinned, inviting wonder about the hands that shaped its circle and the lives that moved within it.

In level pasture. Circular area (diam. c. 30m) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 1.05m; ext. H 1.4m) with external fosse (D 0.35m; Wth 2.1m). Bank overlain by field boundary NE->SW, with boundaries abutting it at NE, ENE, SSE and SW. There is a pond (4m N-S; 8m E-W) in fosse at NNE. Interior level and except for small area at N verge covered by dense overgrowth.
