Fairy fort in Ballydaw, County Kilkenny: an earthen ringfort, a rath, still standing where fields and memory overlap. People may have lived, hidden, or worshipped inside its bank before fancy renamed it. The earth keeps its shape while human claims blur, which is why such places feel alive rather than dead.
