Structure

Two pieces (Wth 0.19m; D 0.22m) of light brushwood in the drain face. One of the pieces is of willow. The pieces occur at slightly different levels in the peat and their relationship is uncertain. The pieces sit in well-humified Sphagnum peat. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1996. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
