What is recorded here

Cahergalloon is a circular cashel in County Galway, Ireland. Its drystone wall still marks a thirty-metre ring in level grassland, though field-clearance rubble has buried the eastern edge. The fort is not complete in appearance, but it is complete in function: a boundary made visible, a place set apart, and a reminder that ordinary land can still contain the shape of old human life.
