What is recorded here

Not shown is a circular enclosure in County Limerick, Ireland. It lies 80m E of a watercourse marking the boundary with Kilmurrily and Kerry, near two ringforts. Aerial photographs reveal a faint oval cropmark about 48m by 75m, though no surface remains are visible. The enclosure may have been a dwelling, shrine or gathering place, now hidden beneath improved pasture and memory.
In improved pasture 80m E of a watercourse that marks the townland boundary with Kilmurrily and county boundary with Kerry. Ringfort (LI017-004---) lies 160m to SE and ringfort (KE003-030---) 200m to W. Not depicted on historic OSi maps it was identified from an aerial photograph as a circular cropmark indicating a levelled circular-shaped enclosure. No surface remains visible on OSi orthophoto taken between 2005-12. Possible cropmark (diam. c. 40m) visible on Digital Globe aerial photograph taken between 2011-13. Faint oval-shaped cropmark (dims. c. 48m N-S x 75m E-W) visible on Google Earth orthoimage dated 15/04/2020. Compiled by: Martin Fitzpatrick Date of upload: 6 April 2021
