What is recorded here

Indicated is a circular cashel on a low Galway hill, its forty-foot drystone ring still standing in grass. A field boundary now crosses part of the wall, yet the eastern gap may mark the true entrance. The fort is small enough to walk around in minutes, but large enough to hold a household, a herdsman or a forgotten claim to the land.
