This is the record for the burnt mound excavated by Yvonne Whitty (E3230) on the N11 road improvement scheme. The burnt spread was associated with two troughs, a pit and postholes. A radiocarbon date from the feature placed it in the early Bronze Age. (Whitty 2009i)
