What is recorded here
Situated on a NE-facing slope in rolling pastureland. Indicated on the 1st ed. OS 6-inch map as a roughly circular area, the E side of which was truncated by a roadway. The site is not indicated on subsequent 1903 ed. suggesting it was levelled between 1840 and 1903. Not visible at ground level.
