What is recorded here

Associated with the medieval church (KK018-072001-) of Ballycallan and situated W of centre of the graveyard (KK018-072002-) and directly E of the 19th-century Holmes memorial. The lower portion (L 0.4m; Wth 0.24m tapering towards the base; T 0.11m) of the slab protrudes above the ground. It is decorated with an incised cross-shaft with incised fleur-de-lis terminal. It is one of four taping graveslabs (KK018-072004-; KK018-072005-; KK018-072006-; KK018-072007-) in the graveyard noted by Carrigan (1905, vol. 3, 442) which appear to date from the 13th/14th century.
