Indicated

Graveyard

What is recorded here

Indicated is a diamond-shaped graveyard in County Roscommon, Ireland, where the church of Kilcommon still stands inside masonry walls seventy metres long and thirty-five wide. The sharp angles cut through ordinary memory, forcing the dead and living to occupy the same tilted space. That geometry refuses forgetfulness, keeping every buried name visible under the sky.
The church of Kilcommon (RO045-116001-) is within a diamond-shaped graveyard (max. dims c. 70m E-W; c. 35m N-S) defined by masonry walls. Enclosure (RO045-115----) is immediately to the N. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
