What is recorded here

Found acting as a lintel in an outhouse in the townland, this ogham stone was removed by Canon Sweeney and when last recorded (O'Connell 1939, 45) lay in an empty house near the vicarage. Its present location has not been established. It measured 2 foot 9 inches (.8m) long (Macalister 1945, 160-1) and the inscription, damaged at both ends, read: MAQ)I DROGNO MUC(COI) The above description is derived from J.
