What is recorded here

Indicated is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Ballincar, County Sligo, Ireland. It occupies a natural hillock in undulating pasture southeast of Ballincar Cottage. An oval area measuring 26 metres north-south and 32.5 metres east-west is enclosed by a bank from the northeast to northwest and a scarp to the north. A faint external fosse appears at the southeast, while a 4.3-metre-wide entrance occurs at the southwest.
On natural hillock in undulating pasture, SE of Ballincar Cottage. Oval-shaped area (26m N-S; 32.5m E-W) is enclosed by a bank (int. H 0.36m; ext. H 2.2m; Wth 1.5m) from NE-NW and by a scarp (H 1.7m) to the N. There is only a faint indication of an external fosse (Wth 4m) at the SE. The entrance (Wth 4.3m) occurs at the SW.
