Marked on the 1841 edition of the OS 6-inch map. A circular area (diam. c. 21.5m) defined by a bank (Wth c. 4.7m, int. H c. 0.8m, ext. H c. 0.8m). Possible original entrance (Wth c. 3.5m) at W. No evidence of fosse. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Laois' (Dublin Stationery Office, 1995) compiled by P.
