No visible trace survives at Baile Dháith, though a standing stone once rose five feet high beside the Feohanagh river. It watched Smerwick Harbour from gently sloping pastureland, perhaps marking a boundary or remembering a loss now forgotten. The earth has taken back what people placed there, leaving only the shape of its absence for others to imagine.

Described as being 'about 5 feet (1.5m) high and 3 (.9m) thick' (OSNB Kilquane, 26), this standing stone was located c. 100m N of the estuary of the Feohanagh river, on gently sloping pastureland overlooking Smerwick Harbour to SW.
