What is recorded here
Kilbegly is a living archive where new graves keep older rules. The church still stands inside the ancient boundary, but the graveyard has grown around it until the original shape disappeared beneath later stone. The dead did not leave a gap; they completed the circle.
On a low drumlin overlooking Lough Nahircha c. 500m to the ESE. This is a rectangular graveyard (int. dims 71m E-W; 35.5m-38m N-S) enclosed by masonry walls and containing 18th to 20th century headstones with the church (RO017-084001-) in the interior.
