What is recorded here

Beneath a low mound in Aughils, a man-made passage waits in darkness. Local memory calls the site a fort, suggesting people built the chamber to shelter, hide or perform rites when storms closed the sky. The earth has buried the entrance, but the chamber remains an invitation to imagine the hands that cut it and the reasons they wanted the ground to swallow them.

A Man-made underground passage (KE046-016001-) was discovered at this location which is known locally as the site of a fort (CKFC 1950 and 1953; local information).
