Not indicated is a memorial stone set high on the external southeast wall of a tower house built for William Bathe and Jane Dowdall in 1590. The stone bears two crests within wreaths and the words WB ID 1590, marking the household that owned the place before later changes. It still points to them, though the house around it has been revamped and much of its earlier life has faded from view.

The tower house (ME033-004----) was erected for William Bathe and his wife, Jane Dowdall, in 1590. There is a commemorative stone placed high at the SW end of the external SE wall of the revamped extension with two crests within wreaths and an inscription. It reads: WB ID 1590 (Grose 1791, 2, 33).
