Castlewhite House still keeps a 1630 plaque bearing the arms of Sir Robert Travers and Elizabeth Boyle, though it now sits on a stable wall rather than the building itself. The move suggests the house changed, was rebuilt, or simply stopped displaying its own lineage. A plaque is not a decorative object; it is a claim about who owned the place and who they married. That claim survived the loss of its original wall.

This record constitutes the original location of a stone plaque (CO086-001----) with the coat of arms of Sir Robert Travers, impaled with the arms of his wife Elizabeth Boyle (Cremin 1910, 143-6; Fitzgerald 1910, 196-8), and bearing the date 1630. The plaque is currently on the wall of a stable, c. 85m to the NW. The stable is part of the farm buildings of Castlewhite House, and probably dates to the 19th century.
