Fairy fort in Ardpatrick, County Louth: a 30m circular enclosure with a single fosse, a possible 5m entrance gap at the northeast, and a smaller 10m circular feature inside, all visible as a cropmark on the south-facing plateau crest. It is the kind of place where people may have kept kids, goats, or secrets from the rain. The fairies, according to local story, took the shape of fort because they preferred a border they could argue about later.

Located at the S edge of a plateau and at the crest of a S-facing slope. The cropmark of a circular enclosure (diam. c. 30m) defined by a single fosse with a possible entrance gap (Wth c. 5m) at NE is visible on Google Earth (12/07/2013). It has an internal circular feature (diam. c. 10m) defined by a fosse, and it was first reported by Jean Charles Caillere.
