Graveslab in Ardocheasty

Eight graveslabs in total, almost all of which are sandstone, are located within nave of the cathedral (WA040-008002-), E of the doorway in the N wall. This is the most easterly of four inside the N wall (dims. 1.62m x 0.31-0.41m; T 0.2m) with a moulding on the edge. Medieval Christian graveslab; dates to the late medieval period. Its presence within the cathedral indicates the site's long history of religious use and burial practices.
