Ten metres of forgotten ditch circles the field west of Ardkill Church, small enough to hide inside an ordinary farmyard yet distinct enough to mark the edge of a buried life. The land may have swallowed a chamber, a torch flame and the hands that built it, while later people walked past without knowing they touched a dead man's address. Barrow remains a modest wound in County Kildare, waiting for rain, root or memory to draw its shape into the world again.

Small circular-shaped earthwork located in field 130m W of Ardkill Church (KD008-009001-) and graveyard (KD008-009002-). Cropmark of small circular area (approx. diam. 10) defined by a fosse the outline of which is visible on Digital Globe aerial photograph. The small size and form of the monument may suggest that this is the site of a small ditch barrow.
