What is recorded here
Not iindicated remains a subcircular rise inside a larger rath, preserving the ghost of a small dwelling rather than a grand hall. The platform stretches eleven and a half metres across, bounded by a shallow scarp that still catches rain and shadow. It is the kind of place where people may have lived, loved, argued and disappeared, leaving only a gentle swelling in the Monaghan landscape.
Situated on a rise in an undulating landscape. A raised subcircular platform (dims of top 11.5m E-W; 8.8m N-S) defined by a scarp (H 0.5-0.7m) at the centre of rath (MO019-005----) could be a hut-site.
